A weekend at NEFFA

This weekend was the annual New England Folk Festival (NEFFA). It takes place on the campus of a Middle and High School in Mansfield, MA. The two gyms are gigantic dance halls, various classrooms are used for other activities, Morris and sword dancing outside, and the cafeteria has a number of groups cooking and serving food (ours is one of those

I'm glad I ran into you there despite my confinement to "other activities" (singing!).

Have you ever noticed how many lovely bears that event attracts?

We turned to each other after we passed you and said "I didn't know Joe did NEFFA!"

And yes, we're contra dancers; we see lovely bears all the time.
