Officially confirmed: David Tennant will step down as The Doctor after the 2009 series.

....well, crap.

I'd really been hoping that he'd keep going.

Ahh well. I wish they'd kept it under deep wraps, as that would have led to something more fun (as a surprise) -- but I guess it was unavoidable that it'd be public.

4 more episodes, then we'll see what they do next. :(

The next episode's apparently called "The Next Doctor", but they are lovely bastards and it could mean anything....
