Doctor Who: Fires of Pompeii

Wow.

THIS is the sort of story that I love about Doctor Who -- it is, effectively, a much compressed retelling of one of my favorite first Doctor stories, THE AZTECS.

At heart is the same sort of conundrum: when is it okay to change history, and why, and if you know those things, how on earth do you live with the choices?

I liked last nights episode of DOCTOR WHO as well.

I was secretly hoping that he'd have another male companion, one to teach. But I liked the ending of him being a doctor though.
