What's that you say? An utterly dichotomous position that puts the church in conflict with itself over something that -- if we're honest -- really ISN'T a high priority in the Bible. I mean, hell, the Sodomites weren't punished for going anal, but for breaking the sacred rules regarding hospitality. (And it's the same story that, lest we forget, ends with incest.)
It's certainly not mentioned in the Ten Commandments, unless you mistranslate and misunderstand the bit about coveting your neighbor's ass. And the crap in Leviticus is, as President Bartlett very ably showed us on West Wing, outdated crap that isn't relevant today, unless you really wish to sell your daughter into servitude or figure out the appropriate level of stoning for working on the Sabbath.
