Owemelympics: All the Feels, Hart of Dixie edition

1. Characters.
Wade. Shirtless Wade a bit more than any other Wade but any Wade is awesome Wade. :D
Lemon. She starts off as a sort of an antagonist. A mean girl Southern style. And then she tricks you into thinking she's shallow and kind of ridiculous and turns out to be this amazing layered complex character. Who's totally kicking ass in season 2, btw, but those are spoilers.
Lavon.

2. Relationships. I almost did all 5 reasons just listing relationships because there's just so many good ones. But the show is more than that so they all go together. Zoe/Lavon BFFness. Zoe/Wade. Lemon/Lavon. Lemon/Annabeth BFFness. George/Wade. Lemon/George/Wade as an awesome trio of friends. And so on. They are all great. And the ones that are just starting to grow have so much potential. Like the Zoe/Lemon friendship. That has to happen, ok, and it will be glorious.

3. Bluebell. A quirky little town and its people. Because all the supporting characters are enjoyable and fun and you will end up loving them and their strange traditions and general adorableness.
4. This is the kind of a fun little feel-good show in a way. Which is good, we all need one or two of those in our lives. But it's sooo much more. It doesn't really go into the cheesy territory as those shows often do. It doesn't get soapy or teenager-y despite the fact that there are love triangles involved and that characters at times don't really show maturity. And it's not really clichéd, even when it looks like it will be - it surprises in the best ways possible.
5. It is just fun to watch. Even though it can be very sad-making sometimes. But other times it is fun and funny and there's a lot of fanservice and eye-candy and the sad-making parts just make the characters even better and that, in turn, makes the show even better (and the better the show the more fun it is to watch it :D).
