A parish church in rural Louisiana [Christmas Eve]

Dec 04, 2010 16:12

It was tradition that Sookie went to church on Christmas Eve. There was a nativity, and she got to see her friends, and really, being the faithful sort, it just made her remember the important part of Christmas.

So, of course, Sookie had thought it might be nice to drag ask her friends to come with her this year, since everyone was visiting. After dinner, she ushered everyone into church-appropriate clothes (or tried), found a dress of her own, and the assembled group walked into town to the small church.

Considering that they took up two pews, and many of those assembled didn't practice a religion at all -- or else didn't understand Christianity -- Sookie should have been more afraid.

But she was just dumb, instead.

[again, still playing this baby out.]
