So... I really want to enjoy things like SWS and memebells, but I just don't. At all, unless it's to tag someone I already know. That sort of random RP is about as exciting to me as a being wanked by a jellyfish. It's way more miss than hit for me, and I get bored. Can't even lie. I need prose, I need tags/verses with plots that actually interest

Your Mike is a gem! I feel like I don't deserve writing with him when I'm still working on Tina's voice LOL. There's hardly anything with them in canon, so I feel like that's a blank slate to take advantage of like whoa.

There's hardly anything of anything in Glee anymore, except snapshots of characters traits. But for me, that's always been the blank RP slate to grab up that paintbrush and fill in the gaps of the bigger picture. I'm more playing in non-complicated fandoms because it's less restricting with what you can explore. It's the only reason I canon RP, to insert stuff canon doesn't cover. Otherwise, I don't really see much point to it. It's still a form of fiction writing, not just regurgitating what canon's already given us. I enjoy the Glee characters like a tongue-in-cheek comedy, but the show in general is just white noise of a Rachel and Finn backdrop. I can think of at least five RP'ers here who could write that show way better than it is.

All just my humble opinion, however. Canon is solely a launch pad for RP'ers to grab and run with, so lets launch! Your Tina is great, though. I can see you care for her character, and that's the best start anyone can have nabbing a voice. Love your character and they'll love you back with tag ideas

I'll be honest in that it was basically Tina's lack of, well, anything in canon that drew me to wanting to try her as a muse. I hate, hate, hate that she had to "turn into Rachel" to get any spotlight or even a solo, even if Finn and Puck as Kurt and Blaine along with Kurt's boob comment in that episode was priceless. I wanted to be able to fill some of her gaps... which sounds dirty and leads me to think that it's Mike filling her gaps, and oi, I'm going to hell LOL.

But I agree 100% with what you're saying I did try the SWS and memebells things, but it was just an avalanche of fandoms I know nothing about or don't really pique my interest, so it wasn't really the sort of RP I was looking for to begin with. Actually, it was intimidating and a little like I was wading around in the deep end of a pool with floaties on and no one noticing I needed to hand to get out because they were all too busy playing with their cool friends.

Praying Tina steps up to lead Glee Club, TBH. She deserves time to shine. And as dirty as it sounds, we can fill Tike's gaps any time you want ;)

That's a perfect metaphor, actually. Some people love that sort of thing, but it's not my cup of tea... nor are a lot of those fandoms. It's nothing against the fandoms, I just don't have the time to invest in them. Simplicity is my life lately LOL. I can't remember the last time I actually went to the movies and there are plenty of writers out there already covering the characters, so there is no unique little hook to nab my interest. With Glee, there is because frankly, it's not a detailed canon by any means and the freedom is there to try out any plot device or challenge. With our group were a very tiny handful of fandoms we all love, and Glee that is a fandom we've stretched over numerous verses together. That works for me, I enjoy it. If I'm not tagging, I'm following what everyone else is.

Remind me what the purpose behind that is again! LOL! I swear, I do listen in our conversations, but with the new verses, I got sidetracked. Oh hell to the yes! That verse has been a total gem, it's been fun kicking it off!

LOL! The fact that Pete's dating Abi and Andy hasn't been told yet. Protective twin times of win! LOL. OMG, I know! I can't believe how everything has just flowed perfectly! It makes me want to hug my laptop! LOL

Ahhhhh, NOW I remember! Aye, that awesome moment where I don't actually need to go looking on SWS or memebells for CR because I'm so fucking lucky to have it already with an awesome bunch of people and their fantastic bunch of muses.
