I feel awesome today.

Made my first public appearance as a transdude. Even though I'm pre-everything, it felt good to get out into the world dressed and acting as myself. Instead of putting this fake girl out there. Got a few odd looks, but they didn't hurt as much as I thought. I'm slowly getting happier. I can't wait to make the full transition.

and keep in mind that although we sometimes assume people are looking at us funny, more often than not, they're looking at something behind us or zoned out thinking about their grocery list and not judging us at all. :)

Yeah. I've done the whole 'assuming' thing my entire life. It's kind of who I am. Which is why I think it really didn't affect me as much as I thought it would. I always tell people who you assume you make an ASS out of U and ME... I think learning to take my own advice would be a good idea. Ha.
