that Regina was a beautiful time. I was only on your periphery, but I knew of the kinds of things you kids did and I was sometimes part of it. I feel nostalgic for it, and the Regina I knew the year before, too. it was a beautiful time in this city. our friends were so freaking amazing back then! we all were.

I don't totally miss that time, because it happened during my dark period, but I hope that someday I go through another life-changing and beautiful experience like that one could have and should have been, and kind of was.

I went through a life-changing period, a beautiful one, when I was 20. another one when I was 30. I think there are more periods like this ahead.
