[That's all the warning this Kazuha gets before a screeching purple monkey comes FLYING at her, a line of smoke trailing in his wake. For a minute there, he looks like he's about to collide RIGHT into Kazuha. But before this disaster can occur, one agile Kaito manages to dart between her and the flying monkey and catch the creature before any collision happens.

This, of course, sends the magician tumbling awkwardly to the ground, monkey tucked tightly to his chest. After a few moments of laying on the floor on his back, he lifts the monkey (who is singed and burned and coughing up smoke in a very comical manner) up above his head]

... that's what you get for playing with fireworks, idiot.

[The monkey lets out a defeated cry as Kaito shakes his head and sits up and nods at Kazuha (whom he doesn't recognize, since he... hasn't met her yet)]

[Kazuha had already moved to duck under the firework, staring as it was suddenly stopped, staring at the boy and the Pokemon.]

...are we havin' another get changed inta Pokemon game?

[Pauses a moment as she stares at Jinx. And turns bright red. Because the last time she saw a Kaito, she'd been in a rather...embarrassing state.]

[... well part of her sentence is familiar, at least. She recognizes Pokemon, and that's enough to grab his attention (and make him wonder if this girl is from Johto, too). But the rest of her question takes him off guard.

Thus why he blinks up at her, the Aipom still recovering in his arms. Also he is completely clueless as to what the red flush means]
