Fox found the infirmary by way of his first exploration of the Mansion since finding Hattori... and was surprised to find a Conan whose scent didn't scream out 'Kudo Shinichi'.
He was far less impressed by the injuries, huffing out a disappointed fox-snort.
Head on paws now, and apparently foxes - or at least, this fox - can raise his eyebrow.
If he wasn't certain you'd freak, he'd be more vocal about it. But for the moment, he's quite comfortable enough as he is... even if he is being called a girl.
"Well, you're the one being all mysterious!" Conan said with a pout. It would be less annoying if he had a more solid frame of reference, but he's starting to suspect what's making this hard is because of a world difference.
Which is just incredibly frustrating. "Are you a boy?"
"So you're an adult who knows I get into a lot of trouble, accepts it, but will still scold," Conan said, looking at the fox thoughtfully.
"...not Takagi-keiji, Agasa-hakase, occhan. Probably not Mequire-keibu or Shiratori-keibu either. Not any of the girls," Conan said, frowning as he thought.
"...Yuusaku-ojisan?" The eyes were the wrong color, but maybe that's a fox thing.
Fox happens to be snickering as Conan lists off the people he isn't - and then when he brings up Shinichi's father, Conan gets a squawk of something indignant.
And then a bark of laughter with a shake of the head.
"Hmmm," Conan muttered, crossing his arms. None of the police fit. Takagi wouldn't be that cool about it, and besides Satou, all of the rest would at least pretend like he shouldn't be around and act more displeased.
"...one of the FBI agents?" More vague there. He wasn't sure WHAT this other Conan might have shared, so he'd rather not say who he might have thought the fox could be.
Warmer. But Conan's still getting a head shake from this Fox. Although - the expression is getting a little more on the serious rather than joking side now that thinking along those lines.
There was a shift there. "Getting closer. Okay, not the agents. Not Eisuke-niisan, he's only seventeen. So who else is involved?" He murmured. Now it was a bit harder. Who fit the requirements. Older than twenty, somehow knows the FBI, isn't a female, reacts with some scolding, but not overt horror at him in danger.
Fox huffs a little, and starts to wander around. It's going to be difficult to place him if Conan is still working on how his own world works, but he isn't going to be giving the boy any obvious clues.
...is it all right that he's batting some of the cupboard doors open? Because that appears to be what he's doing.
Conan watches him, waiting to see if he needed help. It was harder. "...it's not your just in some other government firm, is it? Like CIA or something?"
He was far less impressed by the injuries, huffing out a disappointed fox-snort.

This... was one of the larger problems of appearing to be an animal.

Well, that narrows it down a bit. There's a tilt of Fox's head to one side as he shows his curiosity, what Conan'll make of this.
