And I did enjoy WT when it came out. I went to see NIN on that tour and had a great time - it was probably one of the best shows I've ever been to. But the more I've listened to it, the less it's meant to me. I'm not entirely sure why. I think I'm going to put it on while I'm writing today and see if I can still enjoy it to the extent that I did when it came out in spring 2005. (Granted, in May 2005, I liked softer music than I do now - it was one of my regressive stages.)
But I definitely agree with you about the amount of music in such a small amount of time - it is incredibly impressive, and I definitely still respect Trent for that.

That said, the Saul Williams album was REALLY great. Trent should make more albums with him. Have you heard that? It's like... slam poetry set to industrial beats. (and yes, I disappeared off the internets for a while.)
