Angels Of Light, B-52's(new one), Einsturzende Neubauten, The Flying Lizards, Gang Of Four, Ladytron(new one), The Lilac Time, Ultravox and, last but not least, Run DMC.
Jeffrey Lee Pierce's solo album, WILDWOOD, over and over again. Occasionally, I'll listen to Motorhead's excellent latest album, INFERNO--and the other day, I played some New Model Army and Manic Street Preachers. But WILDWOOD has been an album I've been diving into over and over again for the past month or so, I suppose.
I think it's because I'm trying to soak up JLP's guitar playing, or something--no real obvious reason, really, at least none that I've thought out. But I notice I've been stealing little licks and riffs of his, here and there, unconsciously, when I play. It's funny how influenced he is by Tom Verlaine and Richard Lloyd with his guitar style...it make sense, in a strange kind of way.
