I can sympathize. We spent ~$5000 over several months when my old girl (greyhound) developed a brain tumor.

There are links to sites that will help people having trouble paying for vet care. I hope at least one of them will help.

The website is the Great Dane rescue in my area. If you contact the ones near you, you may find people there who can point you to local resources (or at least more sympathetic vets).
