OMG, not only is this AMAZING and FANTASTICAL, but your commentary is hilarious. Lwaxana irritated me initally--and I can only imagine how mortifying it would be to be her daughter--but I love that they kept bringing her back enough to really let her character evolve and grow. And thank you for reminding me that Lwaxana is literally the ONLY PERSON in the ST-verse who could make me tolerate Alexander. The rest of the time I wanted to shove the little brat out an airlock.

Well, Worf does have that kind of "uptight Klingon nerd" tendency about him. Alexander just takes that to the nth degree.

(I'm only familiar with Alexander from his DS9 ep, but that was certainly accompanied by much *facepalm* and "Good grief, kid, don't you even know how to swig? Or banter?" Alexander should have gone into spying or bookkeeping or something, except - like his dad - he's so srs bsnss about being Klingon. And even Klingon nerds are all sort of "defend your dissertation or DIE IN DISHONOR!")
