It wasn't a physical visit, but Mina Murray definitely decided that calling Daisy upon her discovery this morning was a priority.

Therefore, Daisy's phone would be ringing about now.

There was a bit of a pause.

"After almost a year," said Daisy, delighted, "it's finally happened. After everyone's been saying so much, too! And I'm proud to report, I've a lot to offer as a male!"

"Who is this, by the way?"

There was barely even a pause between thought A and thought B.

Ben had planned on making a cake today. Unfortunately, he was out of sugar. Instead of going all the way to the store, he figured he'd just go across the hall and bug Daisy for some.

And so he knocked on the door.

Daisy who somehow lost this ping in her email, grrr heard the door knock, took a moment to snag a nearby towel to cover up any new appendages she'd gained during the night, and bounced (still) over to the door, glancing habitually through the peephole before opening the door.

"Hullo, Ben!" she said, in a voice that was still oddly Daisy's despite being several octaves lower. "I think I've come down with something, I'm afraid."
