Fic: No Surprises (five ways Harry Potter never told Draco Malfoy he loved him)

So it's two thirty in the morning, and I'm awake because one of the disadvantages of living across from a lovely park is that on weekends it is an ideal place for drunken yahoos to do their drunken yahoo-ing. One of the advantages of living across from the park is that I get a perverse pleasure from calling the police on drunken yahoos having ( Read more... )

I love this. I haven't read H/D in a very long awhile and this...is like, tritely enough, a breath of fresh air. :) It's one of those fics I can just settle into and sleep with. I love the detail and the emotion. And, of course, the sex. (I had to admit it.)

Thank you so much! This is one of the only reviews of this fic I've had that didn't encompass the word "cute", and that makes me extra, extra glad that you liked it.

(and the sex. :D )

oh I do love this. I especially love He doesn’t think Draco hates him, exactly, but Harry also doesn’t think Draco likes him enough for them to be doing what they’re doing. which encompasses pretty much the entire H/D ship. Also, iv. is love. *loves*

Hah, thank you. :) That's one of my primary reasons for liking this ship - not all the cutesyness it's famous for (though I do sneak a bit of that in there as well *g*), but the potential for danger and ambiguity it has.

Anyway, I'm thrilled that you loved it. ♥

Coolness. This is the first H/D I ever read and I liked it!

*is surprised*

I like the way Harry's so in love he feels vulnerable. He's in trouble.

"Malfoy drops scrambled eggs down the back of Harry’s shirt at breakfast, so Harry thinks he’s probably safe"

Love that line. :-) :-)

Goes off to make a coffee and think about H/D

*thinks*

P.S.

Sequel, sequel!

Yay! I love suprising people when they read things they normally don't! :D

Anyway, thank you for reading, and I'm thrilled that you liked it! (Especially the scrambled eggs line, because that's secretly my favorite, too...)

As to a sequel...it's really rather likely. ;)

I know I've read this somewhere before, but I just have to say it's bloody brilliant!
