In the past few months, I have realized more & more I am getting further away from Sparky. Don't get me wrong, I still love them and they will always be one of my all time OTP, but the drive is gone. I feel so bad! It's like breaking up after a long time relationship. I will be around to cheer you all on, and if my muse happens to visit who knows

They will always have a soft spot in my heart. Besides I've made some really good friends because of sparky.

Me too and that's the main reason I've hung in so long. I can't imagine what I would feel like if we had had a worse ending. I'd like to remember the lovely angsty moments without bitterness and anger at any other ships and lately I've felt a lot of that old anger returning. Not healthy and stupid to be so emotionally invested in a show that's over. I'm seriously hoping that movie never gets made.

I know what you mean. I've had no interest at all lately. I don't read fanfic of any variety from any show these days. Other things to think about.

It's been a very long time since I've read anything sparky related. Most I can commit to is about 1 page long.

I know what you mean. I've wanted to write some shep/weir, but the muse just isn't there right now. And I haven't read much fic with the pairing lately so I'm kinda out of the loop as to the ones that are good or to my taste.

And for the moment I'm stuck on another pair. Slash one atm.

They will probably always be my favorite OTP but I've lately ventured into other areas that are more immediately satisfying like Burn Notice and In Plain Sight (Michael/Fiona and Mary/Marshall, respectively). So I can't say I've given them up entirely, more like reserved a special place in my heart for them.

It's yours! Yeah Mary/Marshall has taken over for me. What I like is they are not playing games with the fans. Hopefully the trend will continue next season.
