A. [ After the phone call, Firo rushes out of the house, neglecting to put on a coat. Firo's going to be spending much of the day dashing through the town,

[Tatsuki's just wandering along, minding her own business, when Firo comes up behind her and grabs her shoulder. She knows that Brooklyn accent from before all this started, but she doesn't turn around to face its owner.]

How the hell should I know? I don't even exist anymore.

[ Her voice is almost familiar, and it takes Firo a moment to realize that it's the girl from the phone. Or something pretending to be her. ]

Wait... You too?

[ He quickly draws his hand back. Even if they didn't know each other too well, it's alarming to be confronted with her copy. ]

Even me. Guess that means our sparring session is off the table, huh?

[ He's almost tempted to take her up on it anyway; he hasn't gotten much good fighting in lately. But he can't forget that she's a Mayfield construct and this- in his not very keen mind- something to be disdained. ]

I thought you Mayfield girls didn't spar anyway.

[Barton is sitting on her front porch, bundled up in her oversized trench coat. She's been feeling weird ever since the dream and television broadcast, where she was named. Now people are acting strange to her. She didn't know what to make it.

When she sees Firo, she tries to get his attention.]

[ He spins around upon hearing the familiar voice. He was just looking for her wasn't he? Perhaps Mayfield is messing with his head, because now he can't exactly remember.

But once he gets a good look at her, there's one thing of which he's certain. It's not the real Barton. ]

What the hell do you want?

[She recoils a bit at that.] Not you too! Come on, nothin' happened to me. Don't let the town fool ya!

[ He takes a step forward. ]

I won't fall for it. You can't be her.

[ His hands clench into fists. ]

Why can't you people just leave her alone?

[Even though Seto's been here for quite sometime, he still does the same things he would usually do back home. For example: never sleep and just walk around at night. It's out of pure habit! He can't help it, even if it's cold.

As he walks down the street, he comes across someone just... sitting there on a bench and looking pretty cold. ...That person looks familiar too! So he jogs up to him, hands in his jacket pockets] What are you doing out here?

[ It takes Firo a moment to look up and see who it is. He recognizes Seto and manages a small smile in greeting. His eyes widen when he realizes that Seto doesn't have the same idiosyncrasies as the "copies." Finally a real person! ]

Oh... Nothin'. I just needed to get outta the house. What about you?

[Seto returns the smile but then blinks when Firo suddenly takes on this look of surprise. Did he not expect to see him here or is something on his face?]

I just wanted to take a walk. You shouldn't be just sitting out here in the cold though you know... it's not good for you. [Look who's talking :|]

[ Firo's smile fades at Seto's admonishment and he adverts his eyes. He really doesn't want to explain himself and doesn't even know if he can. ]

I'll be fine. It's not so bad out here. Besides, the cold can't be good for you either.

[ But Seto's right about the cold, Firo can't keep from shivering. That's what he gets for not wearing a coat.]
