Alcoholic adventures

So tonight we had a bbq with the neighbors, who are pretty cool (at least they seemed so from however much I can understand of their conversations).  The bbq was concluded with a variety of digestifs, such as whiskey, chocolate liqueur, Bailey's chocolate mint and a tiny sip  of cognac.  My personal favorite was Bailey's mint chocolate, though the ( Read more... )

Paris' alcohol seems alot cheaper than London alcohol. Here, in London, I feel like I'm giving up an arm and a leg compared to the US. It's devestating how fast I'm losing money...but maybe that's just London. My teachers here do say that London is perhaps the most expensive city on Earth.

View it like this, if you want a better picture - everything is the same numerical amount as it would be in the US, except instead of $'s it's £'s. And £'s = double of $'s. So, you are in essence, spending twice as much.

This was with neighbors of your cousisns? When are you coming back? I swear it's been more than a month...and yes, I imagine i would rather enjoy the Bailey's Mint Chocolate...darling.
