Fiona bought charcoal, steaks, beer, and the stuff to make mojitos. She showered and picked out her favourite sunflower yellow sundress

He can hear the music as soon as he hits the bridge and wonders whether she'd forgotten he'd be coming out tonight. Maybe she's busy?
...busy or not, she's a pretty sight in that dress. He leans on the doorframe to enjoy the view, a small smile on his face. If she doesn't notice him for a while, so much the better.
She, as herself, is more than enough to make him happy. It's not about competition. Maybe he'll explain if it comes up but for now, he's hungry and wants dinner, beer, a shot of tequila and then her, in that order.
'Let me try your dinner. It smells good.'
He doesn't really pull back from her though. She feels good against his chest like this.
She lingers in his embrace, just as glad to feel his arms around her. Eventually she does lead him in the direction of the table.
"Give me a sec." She points at the chair. "Have a seat, I'll be right back."
She goes out the front door with a platter and returns with more than enough steak to feed the two of them. She gives him a cheeky little wink as she sets it down.
"Enough for leftovers. In case we get the munchies later."
He gets another kiss before she sits across from him.
"And miss dessert? I don't think so," she mirrors that smirk back to him.
There's a little remote for the music, and she pokes at it until she finds something latin and jazzy, suitable for background music to dinner.
It occurs to her that he could have had a shower back at his own flat, but that he came here first. Her smile broadens as she takes a bite of salad, looking up at him through her lashes.
He needs to be with people right now and he knew she'd be waiting. And he wanted to come, even though he thought the reception might not be as warm as this.
"The idea isn't just to satisfy, but to leave you hungry for more." With that, she stands and saunters off towards the kitchen. Her hip bumps his chair playfully as she passes him.
A moment later, she returns carrying a bottle of Cristal and two glasses. "I -- almost forgot."

He hopes so. He's still vaguely tired and aching from the whole thing and a nice buzz off of a pipe would go down nicely.
Bur first, food. He's glad to report that it tastes as good as it smells.
'Where'd you learn to cook?' he asks her, like it's a skill she might have magically acquired this weekend.

She watches him eat before cutting into her own steak.
"Just another survival skill, but don't get any ideas," she says, teasing. "Only for special occasions."

He shrugs a shoulder and tucks in some more.
'Don't worry, that's what Bar's for. I just didn't know you could.'
There's also a smirk.
'Rub down and some weed? I'll fall asleep before we get going.'

'Are you dessert?''
He'll have double helpings.

"Could be."

No kidding.

This whole domestic thing is nice, but he'd better eat quick or she's just gonna pounce him right where he sits.
"Eat your dinner."

So he does eat but he's not about to just shut up, either.
'You should serve yourself up with cream. You'd satisy any man's hunger.'
Reply
"Thought you were supposed to bring the cream. Dear."

'But yours always tastes better than mine.'

'Well, I did forget so don't worry about it.'
He takes another bite of steak (really is good) and then holds his hands out for a glass.
'And since when don't I come back for more?'
Case in point; he's here right now.
