[oom: Do You Want To Die Today?]

She returns to find him gone.  Of course.  Which possibly explains Bill's agitation when he left her.  Without the gun.

She leaves the door open, and flips on the stereo, thumbs it over to a hard pounding club mix, and starts tidying.

She is Not Happy.

He's back not long after she is. The first thing he does is wince at the music because wow that's bad.

'Bit early for that, isn't it?'

"Were you going to tell me she tried to kill you? Or that you tried to kill her? Or did that just -- slip your mind?"

Blink.

'I told you she shot me,' he points out, having taken just a minute to figure what she's talking about. He doesn't know why she's choosing to talk about it now, however.

'You assumed she was trying to miss?'

"You told me she grazed you. That it was nothing, just a scratch." She goes back to stripping the sheets off the bed, and he can see the look of worry settling onto her features. "Bill's gonna get you your gun back. Think you can do me a favour and try not to kill him with it when he does? It'd make me look bad."

Maybe he doesn't care if Bill lives or dies, but maybe he'll care whether or not she's dragged through the mud because of it.
