So I guess I ought to mention what we're doing up here and all. Context is a good thing.

I don't envy your drive. The drive from here to Atl is pretty much enough for me.

On a side note, we live right off I-81 about an hour into Va. Exit 118 to be exact(which turns into hwy 460-they try to make it confusing from there); we are just about 5 minutes off the exit.

I hope you have a lovely visit and a safe trip home.

Good lord, you drove to NJ???

I'm actually rather amused that you started on Monday; we could have coordinated a ride with my mom and her husband, also starting back on Monday. :)

sounds like a wonderful slightly less whirl-windy trip! We are flying up to Detroit tomorrow morning.

However, we will be driving to Michigan at Christmas time instead of flying because Piglet goes with us! Yep, that is right - 12 hour drive with a cat! The good news is, she love to travel. She is crazy.
