Had a very nice date night with radiantbaby last night. We always go out for Date Night, so I thought for a change of pace maybe I would cook dinner. It'd been a while since I'd last done that. So I stopped at the store on the way home and grabbed fixin's for Ben's Pasta-ey Goodness. I think I might've put in even more oregano than usual. Yum ( Read more... )

Loved American Beauty, still not sure exactly why. I've always like Kevin Spacey's acting.

It was a great believable story with great direction and acting. There's only been three movies to win the big four (Best Picture, Director, Actor, & Actress) on Oscar night. To me, this one should have gotten it. It was way better to me than the past three movies that did get it. Hillary Swank trying to be a boy and getting abused is so sad. However, her acting was nothing like the emotional roller coaster ride that Annette Benning took us on in that movie.

I've heard that a lot of the Oscar people (old Hollywood) don't like Warren Baetty. If they passed on Annette for that, they shouldn't be deciding the merits of a movie anymore.

Wow, my movie knowledge is sorely lacking. I caught about a quarter of that.
