Monday night was interesting. I went to tc_borderpagans but didn't really participate. As Borders closed I skipped the traditional dinner-after-BP as a few of us descended upon a friend's home. A good bit happened that evening, and I'm still processing some of it, but one part in particular now jumps out at me ( Read more... )

Yes, the swords, all being related to air, are all about the differing sorts of mental structures (or lack thereof in the case of, say, the 5 of Swords) that can be created. And old patterns can be very hard to change once they become "solidified," so to speak.

BTW, Tarot does not *have* to be imprecise and eclectic...sometimes it's just "drawn that way." For a slightly different perspective, I'd recommend the writings of Crowley, the interpretation of the Thoth tarot by Lon Milo DuQuette (I can't recall the title ATM), or The Qabalistic Tarot by Robert Wang.

You never told me that you had a reading yourself, only that you watched readings. I am glad that you did have one though and I hope that you are comfortable enough to share that with me at a later time. I am sorry that you didn't think you could yesterday.

I am also very sorry that I depressed you with the movie. I feel really bad now. :(
