*grumble*

After all that trouble (and today's ~$200 service visit), my home air conditioner appears to be leaking still, which was in fact the original problem, suggesting to me that nothing has actually been fixed. I am annoyed.

It's 11 years old, but I've heard from a couple of different sources that this brand usually lasts only about that long. It probably does need replaced; I just felt I was given the impression that sealing it should help it last at *least* a few more months, if not a few more years. Certainly more than a few days.

We'll see how it looks when I get home tonight. Then we'll see what the repair company says when I call them back.
