I'm enjoying this outing a lot. I didn't think sitting around in what the Japanese call the onsen is very relaxing. One of the attractions here are these large, porcelain jars that you sit in. It's a little cramped for me, but I like huddling inside, and one of the attendants put milk in the water. It was really interesting ( Read more... )

Do you want me to bring something back from the onsen? There's a store at the end of the road, they have very nice teacups.
