This weekend was absolutely fantastic.
Friday night was met with drinking beers on Jen's porch and getting drunk for the first time in almost 5 months. Ended up at Steve's for his birthday and eventually the Monopole. Crashed at Corey's afterwards.
Woke up Saturday at 10:00, went thrifting with Doc and Corey and got this really sweet air organ. That's two I own now except this one is much higher quality. Only 8 dollars too!! Then went and got breakfast at Gus' Diner, went to the senior art exhibition where Doc was making a speech. Checked out all the really nice art. It was a nice time.
Then Corey, Steve Kuntz and I went to Wooden Ski & Wheel. Both Corey and I ended up buying new bikes!! I'm so pumped about it. After that, the three of us went and chowed down on some indian food at Karma's and relaxed at Steve's for a bit. Then we biked around town for awhile and checked out a show at 56 elm. This band Dead Unicorn played and they were awesome. The rest of the show and a little bit afterwards, Alison and I chilled which was cool. After driving her home, I came back to my house and crashed hard.
Today, we had a quick band practice. Wrote an awesome new song. Then we went on an epic bike ride at Point Au Roche and enjoyed the nice weather. It was the first ride of our new bike gang ROLLING THUNDER. Photos will follow at the end of the entry.
The day ended with a great campfire at Travis' with Jen, Abram, Steve, Corey and Leticia. Just got home a few minutes ago.
I'm really sore and tired, but happy. Tomorrow's plans probably won't be as crazy. Just chilling with Travis, buying a bike lock at Walmart and watching a movie with Alison tomorrow night.
