HP Conventions

Does anyone out there go to any of the Harry Potter conventions? I really want to go to the LeakyCon in Portland and Camp 9 3/4 in Texas, but I really don't want to go by myself :/

...

What do you guys think about them? Have any of you actually been to them, liked them, or anything of them? I'm so curious here!!

I've never gone to one. Leaky Con seems awesome and I know a lot of people go to it. I just have a bit of a harder time because all the big cons seem to be on the West Coast and I'm pretty much as far east as it gets. = (

Darn. It sure would be a long flight/drive from the west coast to the east coast. I'm smack dab right in the middle, so it's pretty much all equal distance from me.

I'm just dying to go to something because I know absolutely no one in RL who loves HP like I do...
