You didn't run out to the grocery store to buy bread, milk and toilet paper???
(That's what happens here. Most of the time.)
I like your prep better.
We're getting ice. I'll be laying in a supply of toilet paper (probably the only thing I don't want to run out of!), Tab and dog food. And salt. Can't forget the salt.
I will never understand the bread and milk without eggs & powdered sugar thing. Why are people stocking up on 1/2 of French toast??? If not for French tosdt, wht stock up on perishables right before a possible power outage? Makes no sense.
I happened to have Costco size restocked on paper products, or I'd have been lining up for that tbh.
We're supposed to get a dusting of snow early Friday morning, and I can tell it's coming. Partly because of the uptick in visitors to the library laying in supplies, partly because I had an effing migraine this morning. It's not supposed to be even an inch, but people are freaking out.
Sounds like your stock up plan is similar to mine, except I would have to add milk to the list.
The brand new weathet station in my knee was being a cheerfully chirpy rhymes with witch until Thursday night when the barometer must have burped, because it's been okay since. Either that or base layers were keeping it warmer than usual and that's something I should look into?
Welcome to the Wonderful World of Human Weather Forecaster! I inherited that trait from my mother and could always feel a front coming about three days out. In my 20s I got the add-on feature from my father's side of the family with migraines installed, and it's been a fun time ever since. /sarcasm
If it's very cold and/or my leg with a torn calf muscle is being bitchy, I pull on a leg warmer before I go to bed. It's not perfect, because they're usually "slouchy" so it can drop below the damage, but it can keep the muscle warmer and reduce the chance of a cramp. You don't want anything too tight though, because it can restrict blood flow.
