[ there's a skinny figure wandering in from the east edge of the village, bundled up in a tattered coat that's doing next to nothing to protect him from the elements. of course, by the way he's is stumbling and weaving it's safe to assume he's been affected by more than just the cold

[Terra's out and enjoying the novelty of fresh snowfall, when she spots a familiar figure ahead.]

[Running over immediately.]

[Terra reaches for his hands, resting hers gently atop them.]

...did they hurt you?

[ and Glitch turns his hands over to clasp Terra's, accepting the comfort the contact brought. ]

Yes, a bit. I think. I... [ he shook his head and huffed a sigh. ] I don't wanna remember, it wasn't nice.

[Terra starts to respond to that, but the tea kettle whistles and she stands up again.]

[ he nods, and watches her go prepare tea. the cold is fading, and he feels safe and comfortable which is so much better than-- ]

Probably. That's one good thing, I guess, just being able to forget the bad stuff.
