Nope, not tied to anything at all - just art! Or at least I'm 99.9% certain of that...but you know, I'll confirm it with her to be sure.

I always forget that unlike me *g*, most fans probably haven't seen every single one of her pieces... I really need to get on top of archiving more of them.

I kind of like the sock garters - just another thing for Doyle to peel off him! Clearly Doyle's dreams are...elaborate. Detailed. I could imagine him having a whole elaborate fantasy worked out around this scene, whereas Bodie's dream...well, a lot more straightforward! *g*

As I told Ancasta, I am 99.9% certain that these aren't associated with any story, more's the pity (though I'd love to see that story written!). I'll double check with her anyway, ask her about what inspired her...might be interesting to hear, if she remembers! She's very laid back and not much of a record keeper, so I don't even have approximate years for most of her art, except the stuff that was published in zines and the pieces that for some reason stand out in her memory.

Hmm, I have to say that Bodie's dream appeals to me more. Does that make me a Bodie babe, or a Doyle fan? Because it's Bodie's sense of style that intrigues...
