Last week there was lots of discussion, particularly in cesperanza's LJ, about Brokeback Mountain (which I haven't seen, though I have seen that Logo special on the making of the movie, and I know the story). You're back! Hope you had a good weekend ... (and I *definitely* still want to talk more about Hyperion one of these days... can't wait for London!)

Anyway, yes - the horse's reactions just slayed me too. That look he gives the guy when he says "nope." It's just absolutely perfect!

Had a lovely, low key weekend. And I think I'm going to re-read Hyperion and think about it some more. Expect an email this week.

London, yes! It'll be a month on Wednesday that we leave to converge on England! And no, I'm not counting, why do you ask?

I saw Brokeback on opening day, and loved it. Heard about cesperanza's comments, though. Hmmm.

Yep, that was him - and he is fun; I'm so glad they've moved so close to us.
