I'm going to ignore my evil iTunes right now, and just concentrate on how much I love this, T.

There's something so simple, and charged about the way in which these two play off each other--equal parts friendship and questioning sexual tension--that you capture so well.

The idea of Logan as a little cowboy makes me wish for some age-reducing software to image JD from that Disney movie at four. It must be a precious image, to be sure.

Knowing that this is the first of three chapters makes it feel like my birthday...or Christmas...or Ground Hog Day.... or some other equally special holiday. I've missed this story and I'm SO glad it's back again. HUZZAH!!!

As always, you manage to balance the perfect Logan/Veronica banter with that underlying tension that has grown between them in the absence of the Kane kids. I was thrilled to see Logan actually acknowledge this thing between them, calling Veronica on her bullshit coping behavior. Surely the day will come (soon?) when she'll realize that there's nowhere left to hide and she's just going to have to deal with the fact that she's fallen in love with her boyfriend's BFF/BFF's boyfriend. I am eagerly anticipating those fireworks!

Best line for me:

“Mental note, likes chaps,” he says to the room at large.MAN! No one nails the Logan one-liners quite like you - I swear I could see AND hear JD shooting off this line as he bent over the TV console and played with wires, that wry grin and raised eyebrow on display

Slow and steady wins the race... AND seems most true to who these two are and where they're at pre-series. I'm glad you're still enjoying it, especially with the seemingly endless UST, you are a trooper, no DOUBT!

I'm FLATTERED you love that line because, essentially, the entire chapter is based around it and the four or five lines of dialog that surround it so YAY!!

This is a great story and I really can't believe how much sexual tension you put between them chapter after chapter. You really have a way with words, producing a fabulous story along with smart banter and funny one-liners.

I can't wait to see what happens next. Update soon and never have the Kanes come home ever again.

This is so fun and wonderful. I just love it. Like everyone else said, the UST is great. You write their developing relationship so well, and MAN the characterizations! You always nail them. Logan was especially spot-on, this chapter, though I also love Veronica's thoughts about Aaron and Logan's room...beautifully done. They really feel like regular kids here, in the best of ways - minus the just-about-over-the-top canon drama, but still themselves.
