Awesome! What did you get your degree in?

History. Most useless fucking degree ever. I want to go to grad school for international studies, though, and eventually work either teaching college or with the US government or overseas! :P

What are you getting your degree in???

Japanese. There's a graduate program at the University of London that I want to take so badly!! It's Theory and Practice of Translation, specializing in Japanese literature. Eventually, I want to translate manga for TokyoPop (so they might have someone good on staff) or BLU MANGA PUBLISHING WHICH SRSLY PUBLISHES THE MOST AMAZING YAOI MANGA IN THE WORLD!!

*cough* Anyway, that's the plan. If you do go back to school, I wish you luck! (I wish you luck anyway, but, you know...)

I DISAGREE. TAKE TIME OFF AND YOU FALL INTO A RUT AND YOU ARE LESS MOTIVATED TO PULL YOURSELF OUT. HAPPENED TO ME. I REGRET NOT GOING STRAIGHT INTO GRAD SCHOOL WHILST I WAS STILL ACADEMICALLY-MINDED AND MOTIVATED TO, INSTEAD OF SPONGING OFF MY PARENTS AND DOING NOTHING.
