So. Rod's car is in the shop, beaucoup bucks to repair (around $2100). Yes, I was slightly hysterical earlier today! Check with uberrod later for the full story of how the car ended up in the shop. That is not my tale to tell

Guh, what rotten luck. My car itself isn't worth $2100, and if my repair bill were that high, I'd get a different car for about $1000 or so. Heh.

That's a sad story about the little boy who stopped walking. Bless your grandmother for buying him new shoes.

Gods, that just sucks. I loathe car trouble. I would love to be able to live without one myself. Good luck with getting yours fixed! I know how you feel about the food. I'm constantly switching the quality of our food depending on how much money is available at the time. It's amazing how many things you can do with rice and beans. :)

I've been looking at seed catalogs too. I think this year we're going to be ordering from Fedco. I've heard really good things about them. It's nice that gardening makes me happy and gives me food.
