I now have a story in progress, cos rewatching the Blu-ray version of the ep, there are two scene that was cut from broadcast where Jess txts Becker and we actually see him get teh text. Plus I hadn't realsied before that Becker was supposed to meet Matt adn Connor at Connor's lab, but goes back to the Hub instead. Which in my head is all about him TOTALLY FREAKING OUT about Jess.

So, there will be LOTS OF HUGGING.

Poor Jess. Coming face to face with future predators has got to make one seriously consider a safer line of work. Something tells me the post-5.06 story may have to deal with that in detail, cos even tho it all came out alright in the end, that's still some serious emotional trauma, you know?

You must have read my mind hun, my season 4 & 5 dvd's arrived yesterday so i decided i needed a becker fix i noticed the extra scenes too and it got me thinking what if Becker had dragged Jess to one side to check her over while Emily & Matt went to get Lester which caused my plot bunnys to jump around my brain til 4am. I'm shattered, the story is like an AU ending & the plot far too angsty in parts but i can't wait to get working on it now i'm more awake. x

I'm already 3000 words in and, erm, haven't actually been to bed yet.

So, what extras are on the dvds? I haven't got mine yet, and I'm going utterly mad with anticipation. Any good Becker/Jess goodies?

there's the extra scenes and a making of new dawn which is split between the 2 seasons but i haven't watched it completely yet did notice in ep one season 4 the music isn't the S Club song it was on telly but thats about it i think will have to watch them again once i've caught up on my sleep.
