As much as Aphrodite doesn't really like to admit it, at least in the sense that she's normally used to much, much nicer, her hut is actually pretty sweet. Especially when you compare it to most of the hovels that are scattered around the island, that is. Hers has been totally upgraded, has all the amenities the island has to offer, such as they

Aphrodite sits up when the guy speaks, instantly turning on her own personal brand of charm with a dazzling smile and a flash of leg. He's way young, but totally cute, and it doesn't even occur to her to think this might be someone she should be wary of.

"Hey yourself," she replies with a wave that amounts to little more than a waggle of her fingers. "I haven't seen you around; you new?"

Her smile falters just a little at the name, alarm bells going off in her head. Luke's the guy Percy warned her about, but she doesn't think that would be a good way to start things off, saying that. And who knows, maybe this is a different Luke.

She takes a chance and stands, moving close enough to shake his hand. "I'm Aphrodite," she says, thinking of the borrowed sword she's got back in her hut and how she's even worse than Joxer at using it.
