ok, don't be worried! sorry that was just my first character death since COE so it hit a little harder than usual. i'm not mad at all, jack's death was very beautiful and poignant. i just don't know if at the moment i was ready to read it. but really i'm ok, and you are still fabulous.

Ahh don't worry, I had a feeling it was a little too soon after COE, and of course to keep up my "secret" I had to be mean and not post a character death warning. So it's my fault really. But I am very very relieved you aren't angry, lol I know us fangirls can be a little scary so I was dreading getting feedback here. But thank you so much! Lol your support is as ever so valuable to me. It makes me grin. :D

I actually really liked it. While I understand why the fans like the idea of Ianto becoming immortal so he and Jack can stay together forever, I find the idea of both ofthem being mortal a far more interesting one. Don’t get me wrong I’m heart-broken by this chapter but I still really enjoyed it! You handled it well and the writing was beautiful ♥

I seriously ♥ you right now. :) I completely agree with what you said there about the immortality thing, as its a great idea for fluff but to me the mortality "angst" always appeals that little bit more. I was beginning to think I had made an awful choice with this particular plot twist, so thank you very much for this comment, you have made me smile so so much right now. :D

Fluff is wonderful and sometimes it is what you want after a long day but at the risk of sounding like he who must not be named death and angst well written can be wonderfully heart breaking. I love reading something that affects me, that’s done well and can really hit home.

My main issue with COE is that the relationships and characters were still not developed. The thing you did wonderfully here was the development and that’s why it worked for me. Really loved this chapter and very glad that I could make you smile ♥

I completely agree with all that (also at the risk of sounding like he who must not be named). I love writing stuff that affects people, because its more challenging too, and you have more oppurtunity to get it wrong. I'm weird but that makes me work harder haha.

Looking back on it COE was really strange in terms of character development, I think that's what got to me the most. That and I didn't think the overall ending was worth killing Ianto for if you get me. But thank you! I wanted to write something more than what happened in COE. Once again I am smiling, you really are too kind. :)

I am at least consoled that you thought that this was a brilliant death, as that was the least I could give him really. But I agree about the permanently dying, although without it I feel that TOATA would have ended in a cliched fluffy mess, which with me writing would be more painful to read I think. Lol.
