"You," Wade said, pointing him in an accusation. "Haven't come to Fight Club."

A beat.

"And hi, I guess."

"Good day to you as well, Wade," Fraser said, glancing up. "I haven't. I wasn't sure if it was a club that allowed drop ins."

"Well, I think it is. Unless you managed to piss off that Ghanima chick." Wade gave him a look. "Did you?"

"I don't think we've even been formally introduced," Fraser said, making a face. "And I don't make a habit of angering the faculty."

Someone hadn't seen the Mountie too much lately. So Ray leaned in the doorway. "Hey, Fraser."

Give him a beat to notice-- "Ew, paperwork."

And in exactly the same tone of voice, at that.

"There is nothing wrong with paperwork," Fraser said, glancing up at Ray. "It's a necessity."

"Putting bad guys in jail? Necessity. Coffee in the morning? Necessity. Good kick to the head? Sometimes, a necessity. Paperwork? Waste of trees." Ray invited himself on into the office. And onto a chair. Hey, Fraser's office.

Robin had been meaning to do this for awhile, and today seemed like a good enough opportunity.

So, Monday afternoon found her presence being heralded by her voice down the hall saying, "Do you see Daddy's office? Can you smell Daddy and Dief in there?"

But only if you were listening closely, because really.

And within moments, there was a wee black puppy on a little red leash poking his head in curiously and barking happily at Fraser. Robin was a few steps behind him, you see.

The wee black puppy and human shaped person were going to have to step over the lazy wolf laying in the door way, glancing up at them both like they were evil for interrupting his sleep.

"Someone's excitable," Fraser said, dropping his pen and smiling over at the door.

"I didn't think it showed," Robin said, peeking in over Rocky's head and gently lifting him over Dief. "Sorry, buddy," she added, letting go of the puppy's leash so he could skitter over to Fraser and she could scritch Dief's ears.

Fraser scooped up the puppy when he got close enough and settled him on his lap, careful to keep him from flailing his little body off.

"This is a surprise," he said pleasantly. "Hi."
