So you often frequented the supernatural quarter of Yoshiwara's red light district? XDD I worry that because have such clear images of Japan in my ehad that nobody else can envision it - maybe I need to ddescribe it more. But describing the location isn'tso interesting as talkking about sexy royal navy!Arthur or sexy long-haired kagema!Alfred!!!
Just curious, but how do you imagine Alfred to be? Because based on the anime, Alfred has quite the manly built, so for me to imagine him playing the role of a female, more so a believable Kitsune female is a bit... hard to imagine. No offence meant, though.
He's not super buff in this AU. If you've seen the MMD it's based on, you'll know what I mean. But also, the kabuki actors are seriously swamped in their costumes. They wear TONS of layers and look like giants sometimes. A kimono has so many layers that it hides your body. It doesn't matter what you look like udnerneath, they pad it out to make you perfectly straight, with no curves or clues to your build or anything. (I've worn them before, so I can attest to this.) So even if Alfred happened to be rally muscly underneath, you'd never know fromt he kimono.
Plus, the make-up on his face is going to hide the fact that he might have a manly jaw. When you're covered in white powder with elaborate red lips and eyes, people aren't going to be able to tell how chiselled you are - especially because the audience is not necessarily up close enough to examine you.
