I do have a question though. what does the "kun" after his name mean?

if I got my japanese right it means "family" but i'm not sure. it was used out of respect. in FB Tohru called Yuki that until after she got to know him better and then called him Yuki-kun. I'm not sure what that means but I could guess maybe it means "friend" but lol, I know nothing in that area. :P
