I was not expecting this, not at all ><;;;;
This was an amazing surprise ughhh. How dare you bestow such happiness on me ;) ;).
The right-away reference to their couch had me feeling nostalic right from the get-go ><, and it was a perfect way to connect the epilogue to the main fic.
Like, it gave the feeling of "time has passed and things have become routine" but also "moving forward and evolving" and the fact that Jonghyun helped pick it just further establishes how he is now an integrated member of the family ><;;. So much feels.
And they told his manager, yay XD. And the Jonghyun working on his education and his prospective job, I am so.. contented with everything (for lack of a better term) ><.
Plus.. the bed scene with them talking and Jjong being a good bed warmer... that was so cute omg omg it was so adorable, I was not ready but ugh.. my mind was replaying that moment days after I've read the fic >< (..so yeah confession: I did not post a comment right after reading the fic... sorry ㅠㅠ). I'm happy I got to incorporate the couch again xD it helps bridge back to the fic like you said and I really wanted to mention it again because it ended up being quite important in the fic, lol.
Of course Jonghyun had a say in the new couch considering they use it a lot together hehe. Who would've thought a couch could serve as symbolism.. .not me that's for sure. Also I was thinking of the couch we see in Key's Know How, in Key's apartment.
