Summary: Jonghyun’s job is rather unusual; dogsitting for an idol isn’t something most students pick up on the side. Only, what he expected to be a stroll in the park with two lovable dogs turns out to be much more than he bargained for.
( It looks like his big sweater is swallowing him up with how he’s sitting, huddled up into a corner of the couch. In that moment, Jonghyun has no trouble believing Key is actually younger than him. He looks deceptively innocent like this, maybe even a bit naïve. )

The whole thing about Kibum's couch was kinda perfect because whenever I imagine his apartment, that couch is forever in the back of my mind... and now it holds such a sweet memory :D!
Ahhh, watching one piece and eating on the sofa, such a mundane experience but that is what made it kind of beautiful.
I loved this part too:
“No,” Key calls out rather loudly, halting Jonghyun. He really wishes he could see Key’s face better. “No,” Key repeats, back to his previous quiet tone, “I meant-I wanted to invite you.”
Awwwwwwh.....so cute!!! haha.

I started writing this fic before Key's KnowHow was aired so I didn't know he had a gray couch irl back then xD but then the white couch became kind of an important part of the story so I just left it! All that to say that I'm glad you appreciate that couch lmao

this story is so unique and i'm in love with both jonghyun and kibum here SO MUCH, and Jinki is lovely too!
Don't even get me started about the domestic!jongkey you did in this chapter, this is like my ultimate weakness and I'm dead right now
"He pets the shivering ball of black fur, muttering nonsense in what he hopes is a soothing tone and drops a kiss to the top of his head when he suddenly notices Key watching him through the mirror" that's so cute how kibum was watching that adorable moment between jonghyun and the dogs ;;
"“Do you live under a rock?” Key says, looking a bit stunned, but mostly amused." i cackled. i LIVE for the fact jonghyun doesn't know anything about idols
Then the whole couch scene while watching one piece oh gosh why are you doing this to me so early in the storyyyyy. I don't think i will survive until the end of this story

I hesitated making Jonghyun aware or not of pop culture idols but I figured it would be kind of funny if he didn't... hence this. I'm glad you appreciated it!
