such a nice twist for these series (that sounds kinda mean) but yeah, this was a refreshing change i guess, in between all the romance and fluff a little angst never hurts nobody. it was really sad though, especially because it actually happened/is happening to kibum. it's a warm thought that he has jonghyun, and probably all the other members as well, to support him. i mean, i hope they're there for him. i guess they are. idk. anyway, the thought is nice. ahh, really, the fact that this is actually real makes this so much more sad.

I was kind of surprised when I first read your comment because I don't really consider this a twist xD probably because I've had it in mind for a while. Puts things into perspective! So thanks for that. But I do agree that it is a change.
I sincerely hope that the others were there for him. It's hard to say anything about SHINee's personal lives but it certainly is a nice thought.

lovely as usual! I love how you've fleshed out their relationship to show that it's deep enough for them to use each other as pillars of strength. love that.

"We were up late," Jonghyun replied, and Minho arched an eyebrow. “Yes, in that way,” he added then..."He isn't lying." - HAHA you asked for that Minho. I swear I love this Minho sfm.

He reached under the table to catch Kibum’s leg between his feet, and Kibum’s smile became a little more sincere after that. - adorable

He was the first to fall asleep, and Jonghyun didn’t mind the few extra minutes it gave him to hold him close and revel in his warmth. - too sweet, can't compute

I feel like this goes without saying from me but I will continue to read this 'verse (and everything else that you write) no matter what. I don't care if you send them to the moon or if they decide to go to Timbuktu to start a llama farm. i'm reading. <3

(and yes Jonghyun is amazing, so amazing)

And yeah, I guess the angst is what really shows the depth of their relationship. Of any relationship, which is a tad ironic xD
