Ha, this was funny. We used to live behind a corn field and got field mice in our house all the time...my mom used to chase them all over the place with a broom!

I love your line about Americans being insane.

And Alex didn't die again! That's always a good thing.

Can't say anything about the fate of the mouse though ;-)

The American bit... Well, an English friend of mine told me that all of her teachers and friends joke on/insult Americans, so I had to put that in there for her. :D

And, nope, Alex didn't die! It was spring yesterday. Couldn't bring myself to kill the poor chap. :D

Yes, the fate of the mouse... At least I didn't add Jack or Alex finding a tiny skeleton later! Or, really, since it was a pet cat, they'd more likely find the whole thing.

And... gruesome time over for now. ^_^
