OF COURSE, Helena Bonham Carter. It's a Burton film. Just like Johnny Depp was a given.

But yes, that's still incredibly exciting. :)

Ssssssssorta. Even though it's a Tim Burton film, it's still Sweeney Todd. And Helena's not the first a lot of people, including myself, would peg for Mrs. Lovett. But that's why that's cool to me.

Okay, true. I wouldn't think Helena for Mrs. Lovett either. I guess I'm just not surprised Burton chose her. I'm excited to see her act it, becuase I think she'll rock the part... but I'm anxious to see how she sings.

She'll definitely rock it. And I'm definitely excited for the singing. Mrs. Lovett's one of those roles where the singing voice comes out of the character. ... Which, now that I write it, is a stupid distinction to make 'cause all singing in musical theatre comes out of the character.
