The thing that I love about this job is that you only have to deal with people for, at most, 5 minutes at a time before they get replaced with new people. I don't understand when a person in a service job says, "Hello, how are you?" why it is impossible for some people to say as much as, "Hi," back? Or even give a little head nod? That got me thinking: can you get tips? Maybe you should start showing off your fine looks and try to get some cash on the side. Start saving up for us to get a kickass inground pool or something.

I wanted to tell you that my mom was watching the news and she heard that your high school music teacher was retiring or something, and that he used to be in KISS and she got all excited and interrogated me about if you played an instrument and if you knew him or not.

She was also convinced that he was one of the four famous KISS guys, but I was pretty sure he was an original member, not one of the heavily made-up ones. But I thought I'd check with you, just to be sure.

I know what you mean about people you don't know knowing you. People come up to me all the time and start talking to me, and I know who they are about half the time. It'd be weird if it hadn't been happening since the 5th grade.

Also: Our first action as roomies next year is now to make you little stars of David to throw at people in random businesses.
