I can't stop listening to this bloody "New Moon" soundtrack. I don't think I really want to see the film yet. I watched the trailer and it screamed of trashiness, but I would at least rather read the book before I see the film. (If I do eventually see the film... The book might put me off.) I am curious because it's popular, and I want to read at ( Read more... )

So even you wouldn't come see it with me? (I have no choice; I must show my loyalty to Michael Sheen.) BTW, film critics Michael Phillips and A. O. Smith both said the films were far superior to the books, which sound nigh on unreadable. They gave the movie a thumbs up, with caveats, of course.

Wow, I sure wish I could read as fast as you!

Oh I don't know - I might watch it eventually. I'm told the second film's better than the first and the wolves look impressive on the trailer.

I've read about 30 pages of "Twilight" and so far it seems very easy to read. It's not brilliantly written - quite badly in some parts, to be fair - and I get the impression that it's not going to be particularly original, but it's all right - just a simple little story, really. :) I think I'll get through this book very quickly.

Twilight books bored me like hell :D
... but I mus admit they're nice, in some way. I've almost finished "Eclipse".
I don't like Stephenie Meyer's style, I think. Not brillantly written, as you said. Definitely not. And the Bella/Edward love story is just... blah. Not my favourite kind of romance.
The movies are ok, though. Pretty entertaining.
