This is what I thought coming to an alien galaxy would be like. A sky full of new and unexplored stars and the subtle glow of a new moon reflected upon the water’s calm surface. He looked heavenly, new, and exciting; like a step through the Stargate to another unknown planet. Each glance into his beautiful eyes was like the intake of breath that I cannot help escape my lips as I come into being on the other side.
“Are you ever going to join me?”
“I think I’ll just watch.” Even in the moonlight, I could see him blush.

The entire infirmary stopped as they looked with surprise at the usually calm Dr. Beckett. He stepped forward, gripped Rodney by his arm and physically threw him out with Teyla following right behind. She placed a hand upon his shoulder, only to have it shrugged off.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?” Rodney yelled from the ground.
“I cannae take it anymore! I would appreciate it if you would take your flirtin’ somewhere else.” He closed his eyes and sighed. “Please leave.”
Everyone watched as Carson turned away from his friends and locked himself in his office.

It took only a split second for Rodney's mouth to begin functioning with words spilling out uncontrollably; clichéd words like 'I thought I lost you' and 'Never, ever again' and 'I love you so much'. They were words that were giving too much away too soon and echoing off the infirmary walls. An unstoppable and unbroken force expelling every little thought he had had during the past three days as he'd waited silently for Carson to awake.
A small smile from his friend caused him to stop and realize that his face was wet with tears, and so was Carson's.
